Force Touch Trackpad – the art of typing without typing!

Apple have been awarded a patent for what is set to be the next big thing in mobile touch devices!

The Force Touch trackpad developed by apple for their new MacBook has made quite a stir, and not just because it has a capacitive glass surface.

Reports state that it actually feels like you are tying. The harder you press the more feedback it creates and fools your brain into thinking you are depressing a key, known as ‘Haptic Feedback’. But with the addition of their ‘Taptic Engine’ simulating the physical movement and that is what is exciting the tech community.

It looks like it will be part of the next iPhone6 and their wearables such as the Apple Watch.
