Install the brilliant and free VLC media player and use the mousewheel on the video to double the volume I do this all the time. (up to 200%).

On a Browser try Firefox (free) and their brilliant

Both are free so try them you have nothing to lose!

You could probably use multiples but be careful you do not blow your speakers! LOL

Buy powered (USB or AC) Speakers it may sound obvious but this is a very easy way to increase amplification look at 20 watts + So you have some headroom.
