Homage to the Mustang NoPixel Pursuit Interceptor
The Interceptor Pursuit vehicle used in NoPixel (FiveM) by the top streamers on Twitch who play senior cops is the car to have if you want to really enjoy high speed driving with great control.
This was quite a fiddly operation to get this how I wanted it but I will explain below. I have a video of both what I did and showing off the vehicle so please watch all the way through as it shows the vehicle at night.
But also I have included a video that hopefully it will remain uploaded by the streamer (Saab who is Chief of Police on NoPixel and a great streamer I have watched and enjoyed for years!). If not I have a still of the NoPixel version also here above as a still image.
Using an iframe
So how did I do this?
Well first you need the vehicle and this is the best one around beautiful work!

Now, although beautiful it has a few issues to overcome. The first is it is a DLC file and I am not a fan of these so I dropped it temporarily into my mods folder and removed the vehicle and texture files from it and dragged them to my desktop using OpenIV then simply deleted that file.
Now the second problem is the texture, of course I wanted it to be a homage to NoPixel so it has to be at least similar to theirs (not the same as I don’t want to infringe their copyright). I opted for the slicktop rather than lightbar (that is an option there too) because as this vehicle was non-ELS and I had to create this to be ELS with some fresh coding on a new XML ELS file.
Lastly I wanted to use a standard vehicles.meta in that I didn’t really want separate carcols and handling for this. So I chose to emulate the ADDER which is not only a great handling well known GTA5 supercar it is VERY fast and this handling with the Mustang look, couple this with Police slot 4 (police4), and a new ELS config makes this work! Watch my video and see. You can use this without ELS as it comes and just retexture it but ELS has the sirens and the environmental lighting (off walls etc) it is just nicer.
I will drop the texture file here for NoPixel fans but the coding you will have to figure out for yourself or just use the vanilla version without ELS. But have a go if you want its how we learn and fun to do.
